Jules Owner of Around and About Bath Tours was an amazingly prepared, professional, knowledgeable, friendly and insightful tour guide for our day of discovering the much less touristy villages, estates and churches in the Cotswolds. He shared interesting information all during our drives, as well as within the towns and churches. In addition to the historical information, we received a lot of fascinating architectural insight. The van was comfortable, we felt completely safe in his able driving hands on the unbelievably narrow back country roads, and we had lunch at an amazingly quaint restaurant/inn. Jules was so easy to talk with from the first moment of meeting, he invited our questions and kept the day so interesting and perfectly paced that the eight hours flew by! He was in tuned with our group's interest and did a spontaneous stop at a church he knew we'd love to see, at a time that he knew they were having their Thursday morning coffee social, so that we could talk with the local parishioners. In addition he tweaked the last stop of the tour, because of the group's interest in old fortress/manor homes and gardens. My husband and I are grateful for meeting Jules and the knowledge he shared with us and would go back to Bath, simply as a home base, in order to take more tours into the country around Bath, with Jules. Thank you Jules!
