Make your own way to the takeoff spot near the village of Magliano Sabina, approximately an hour’s drive from Rome. Alternatively, upgrade your package to include pickup and drop-off from your central Rome hotel.
Meet you professional captain and crew and prepare for the trip with a thorough safety briefing. Then, climb into the basket and get ready to take flight.
Each basket holds a maximum of 16 people, which ensures you’ll have plenty of space to get comfortable as you float through the skies. Feel yourself rising higher and higher, as the balloon soars upward, reaching a maximum height of 2,000 feet (609 meters). From this aerial vantage point, you can enjoy the scenery from a whole new perspective.
Gaze in awe at the beautiful countryside below. This scenic area of Lazio is peppered with vineyards, grand castles and cypress trees. Relax and revel in the peaceful atmosphere as the morning breeze carries the balloon ─ and you ─ across the skies.
Upon landing, raise a glass of Champagne to celebrate this exhilarating experience. After, a transport shuttle will ferry you back to the original launch point.
Wind up the tour by saying goodbye to the crew and to your fellow passengers. Then head off on your own, or enjoy transport back to your accommodation in central Rome.
