Sunday is the best day for this tour, as there's less traffic in the city, but whatever day you choose, your private driver-guide will collect you from your cruise ship or hotel at 10am.
First, establish whether there are any highlights you'd specifically like to see or photograph, so your guide can add them to your itinerary. Next, drive through the streets of Istanbul visiting hilltops, rooftops, piers, seashore, and city walls, in quest of the city's finest viewpoints.
You might wish to capture the skyline of Sultanahmet, dominated by the six slender spires of the iconic Blue Mosque, or the Galata Tower, stranded amid shipping in the Bosphorus. Or perhaps the galleries, boutiques, and cafes of bohemian Cihangir are more your speed.
Whichever you choose, enjoy the flexibility of a fully private, entirely customizable tour to see Istanbul's greatest views and perhaps immortalize them in stunning shots. The tour typically lasts between four and six hours, bringing you back to your ship or hotel between 2pm and 4pm: feel free to specify an earlier arrival if required.
