Our guides for both parts of our tour were so knowledgeable about the history of Rome, we couldn't have been happier with our experience. It was disappointing to not get into St. Peter's Basilica due to a religious holiday (make sure to check the Catholic calendar prior to booking) but our guide made up for it by spending extra time going through every detail possible at the Vatican Museum.

The tour guide was amazing, very informative and kept a good pace, bring water, a hat, sunscreen and wear comfortable shoes and all will be fine. We really enjoyed it.

This was the worse tour I have ever taken. The tour guide was rude. She walked too fast for an elderly group. Would not answer our questions. She told us just to watch and she would tell us what we were looking at later. We like to know what we are watching. When we stopped to take a picture she told us to come back and take pictures on our old time. Spend your money elsewhere. This tour was a waste of money, we would have done better on our own

Excellent guide, very knowledgeable and a good storyteller

Our tour guide was terrible. She was a short older lady with brown/red hair and kept walking ahead and leaving everyone behind. She would tell us that we can stop and get water and then start walking and leave people behind. She was knowledgeable but I do not recommend this tour.

Great tour, highly recommended. You would never guess how close you are to the Acropolis until you walk this.

I think this was a really well-organized tour. We had a bit of a challenge finding the hotel as it's about a block off the square but once we found it, everything worked out. This is a walking tour that includes walking to the Acropolis so be prepared with comfortable shoes, water, and the ability to climb marble slippery stairs.
