Cruise the backwaters of Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha, on a 7-hour tour from Fort Kochi and discover the famous inland waterways of Kerala by a traditional houseboat. See traditional villages and backwater boats and more. Alleppey is located between the Arabian Sea and a web of rivers flowing into it. In the early 20th century, the Viceroy of the Indian Empire, Lord Curzon, was so mesmerized by the scenic beauty that he declared that Alleppey was “The Venice of the East.”

Pick-up from your hotel in Fort Cochin, Ernakulam MG Road, Wellingdon Island, or Kundanoor at 10:15am and transfer to Alleppey to board your houseboat at 12:00pm. Cruise slowly through the backwaters and village areas to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms, and more. There will be three staff members (Guide is optional) to make sure your experience is as relaxed and satisfying as you could wish for.
Enjoy your lunch of Keralan cuisine that includes rice, vegetable dishes, fish, chicken and everything is freshly prepared on the houseboat. As we gently cruise, the tour will end at approximately 4pm and you to be dropped off at your hotel by5:45pm.

Excellent boat tour of the Kerala Backwaters of Alleppey. You get a great chef on board that makes amazing south indian seafood. The tour is so peaceful and scenic you have to see it to believe it. All the staff that host you are great. You're getting the whole boat to yourself for the day tour!

My friend and I booked this tour in advance of our arrival. The drive down to Alleppy was easy and then we had our OWN houseboat for the two of us. The drive was lovely, the staff was great, the food was DELICIOUS, and the length of time was really good I think. A well-spent afternoon.

We could not have had a better time than on our private Kochi Tour. The Houseboat was beautiful and so comfortable. Two couples enjoyed the day lounging, dining and enjoying the scenery in Kerala. Our fellow passengers on our cruise, passed us as they sat on hard plastic chairs in a large tour boat without food. We were enjoying our lovely meal prepared by 3 great chefs. The cruise passengers were very jealous and paid much more than we. I can't say enough about the trip.
