Your adventure beginsat Port Allen on Kauai, where you'll board a catamaran at 6am for a 7.5-hour, thrillingcruise to the "Forbidden Island" of Niihau.Enjoy a delicious continental breakfast with coffee, tea, juices, and sodas as you take in the beauty of Kauai’s rugged coastline and photograph the Na Pali sea cliffs. From here the adventure ramps up a notch, as you cross the channel to neighboring Niihau, a small privately-owned island, where the population barely exceeds 100 full-time residents.
While there is no landing on the Niihau coast, you can swim in the warm, crystal-clear waters, where visibility is sometimes as great as 150 feet. Snorkel, scuba dive, float on boogie boards, or take a turn on the water slide, and relax while dangling your feet in the water from steps on the back of the boat. Prior to departing the office in the morning, you can also rent wet suits and underwater cameras to document the adventure, and scubadiving is offered by advance reservation─no experience required.
On the cruiseback across the channel, relax with a delicious buffet lunch complete with beer, wine, and Mai Tais, and your tour finishes in the early afternoon when you arrive at the dock in Port Allen.

Captain Chris and the crew Sully, Esha, and the rest! were great. Very attentive and very helpful on the moving boat! Brought water and snacks and helped everyone move around. I thought it was great that they refunded some of the fee due to not being able to go to Niihau due to the ocean swell. We'll try again next time. The scuba diving was good, we saw loads of fish and even a green sea turtle just on the shelf where the water gets much deeper. It was a comfortable and easy dive in about 30-40 feet of water. Gear was easy and Esha was a great guide!

The crew was great and the Na Pali Coast views were awesome, but I wish there was more time for the SCUBA, since there was three groups and not enough guides for all of us at once our time was extremely short, it was not worth the extra money for the SCUBA part, we should have just done the snorkel

Apart from the stunning views and great snorkeling, the crew was phenomenal! They were all extremely knowledgeable about the island's history and wildlife as well as being very helpful. I highly recommend Blue Dolphin Charters.
