Departing from Phu My Portto Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum which originally opened in September 1975. It displays old military equipment and other related items from the Vietnam War. Afterward, continue to see theReunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. The palace symbolizes the end of the Vietnam War when a North Vietnamese army tank went through its gates. Then take a shortstroll to see Notre Dame Cathedral and the General Post Office. Both are beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period.
Visit a traditional coffee shop to enjoy one of the most famous coffee in Vietnam: Cafe Sua Da (Coffee with condensed-milk).
After that depart to Chinatown, Cho Lon (Binh Tay) market, not only seeing the locals bartering, purchasing and selling merchandises at the market but also seeing a rich and diverse Chinese culture that is subtle yet distinctive from other parts of the city.
Transfer back to District 1 for lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to shop at Ben Thanh Market.
After shopping, if we have time, we will travel along the Saigon Riverside to overview Nha Rong wharf where Ho Chi Minh President first left Vietnam in 1911. Visit Ngoc Hoang Temple also known as the Tortoise Pagoda, this figurine-filled place of worship is considered by many to be Saigon’s finest. Finish your tour with transportation back to Phu My Port or Cai Mep Port.

Viator was easy to deal with in booking and communication.
Our Ship arrived in PHU MY Port and the tour guide was waiting just outside the ships stairs, as we had an our 11 and 14 year old daughters
Tin could speak good English and had very good knowledge of the sites of Saigon.
The places we visited such as the war museum and temples were very interesting.
the ice coffees were to die for and the local restaurant we ate at was very nice and pleasant.
good value for money and highly recommend this tour to anyone arriving by cruise.
Much cheaper than the cruise ships prices.

This tour was excellent. We enjoyed the day going around at our pace and had one if the best tour guides! The only thing you will need to know is that you will need to walk out of the port not far - 5min walk to meet the guide and driver. After this everything was awesome.

The only downside of the tour was finding them at the port- they were waiting outside the port gate when we thought 'port' meant at the port - shipside. Once this was sorted though, the rest of the tour was excellent - meeting our expectations and exceeding them.
