During our Discover Freediving Program your instructor will introduce you to the basics of proper breathing techniques and safety related to freediving.You will:
" learn how to relax and breath properly before a dive;
" learn how to equalise your ears;
" practice Free Immersion and Constant Weight on a rope to a maximum depth of 10 meters;
" learn how to hold your breath underwater for 1 minute or longer!
" enjoy the amazing underwater world of Koh Tao or Sail Rock on a single breath.We have a friendly and experienced Freediving Instructor who will guide you through your training at a pace suitable for you and who will make sure you get the highest standards of training available on the island.
The Discover Freediving Programdoes not provide a certification so please check our Padi Freediver course if you want to learn more and become a certified freediver.
Schedule
For the Discover Freediving day iyou will be picked up between 7am-7.30am depending where you are staying on the island. Our boat leaves for the dive destination at 8 am.
After getting a briefing from your instructor you will participate in 2 open water sessions and depending on our schedule and sea conditions, dive sessions can take place either in Koh Tao or at Sail Rock.
We have lunch on the boat.
We usually return to Koh Samui between 1pm and 3pm depending on our destination that day.
