Similar to snowboarding, sandboarding is easy to learn and a fun way to enjoy this natural environment. An instructor and equipment are provided for this 2-hour activity. Choice of morning or afternoon departure time when booking. Make a day of it and combine it with our Kayaking Trip on the lagoon.

Meet your instructor-guide at Marina Martinique Parking Area Jeffreys Bay, and take a short walk to one of the area's most unspoiled beaches to start your sandboarding experience.
While the waters of the bay may be known for surfing, the huge dunes on land offer the perfect backdrop for sandboarding. During your two hours, learn the basic skills from your instructor and practice riding the board down the dunes, enjoying the speed and unique thrill. If you can stand, you can sandboard. If you lucky you get to see Whales and Dolphins in the background.
Your tour ends with return to our Sandboarding meeting place in Marina Parking Area.

Please not that Sandboarding is not possible when it rains or after rains until such time as the dunes have dried out.

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

A small amount of walking is involved, about 300m to the dunes along the beach

Due to uneven surfaces, sand dunes, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
