Ermelo Walking Path  12,4 km

After the strengthened breakfast, we set off towards Alvo Natural Park to start the Trail of the Fisgas de Ermelo Walking Path. This is a trail for true nature lovers! Its an excellent option for those who want to enjoy the silence and the untouched beauty of the Alvo Mountain.
You will sleep in a magnificent traditional farm and taste some of the best local food.

Day 2

Up to the Mountain Top  12,6 km

Today is the day we climb one of the highest mountains in the north of the country to enjoy 360 p views. This is a hike that promises extraordinary views from the top of Maro Mountain, with its peak at 1416 meters above the sea. The big challenge is to climb the whole mountain always with the top as our goal. There are some breathtaking views waiting for us.
After hiking, you`ll taste some of the best local and regional delicacies in the beautiful city of Amarante where you will sleep.

Day 3

Into the Douro Vineyards  17 km

Today we set off towards Douro Valley. This is a particularly beautiful hike in all its extension. The views are always breathtaking. The trail is totally done in the Douro Demarcated Zone  DOC  and surrounded by vineyard landscape that is a World Heritage Site. Along the way, you will appreciate the wonderful landscapes of the valley and the Douro river, its slopes and vineyards, and pass through innumerable wineries.
After your hike, you`ll enjoy a tasteful meal and rest in a hotel with extraordinary views over the Douro valley.

Day 4

Chasing Dolmens  16,8 km

This is a peculiar path because it will be done on a mountain  Aboboreira Mountain  where there are still traces of human presence for thousands of years. You`ll not only visit countless primitive monuments, enjoy the extraordinary views from the top of the mountain, but also have the opportunity to cross and enjoy three beautiful tiny mountain villages, extraordinary examples of rural Portugal.
After your walk, awaits us a delicious delicacy in one of the most traditional and rustic restaurants of this region and a magnificent local hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 5

The Paiva Walkways  8 km

This is the best way to end the hiking program! The Paiva Walkways were the winner of the World Travel Awards 2016 for the Most Innovative Project in Europe and Europe’s Leading Tourism Development Project 2017. It is an 8 km boardwalk through ruggedly beautiful scenery in Arouca Geopark.

After this relaxed walk, it’s time to rest at the table. You will enjoy one of the most delicious dishes of this region. Then we set off towards you accommodation in Porto. End of the hiking program and our services.
