We will meet at a century-old railway station in So Bento, and take the train from Porto to R□gua, the capital of the Douro Valley region. We will travel along one of the most beautiful routes in the world. We will enjoy a tasting brunch. We will visit the elevated viewpoint of Casal de Loivos, for one of the most interesting views of the Douro Valley, which has UNESCO and BBC classification. Then we will have lunch in my family's wine cellar. We will visit and taste wine at family wineries, and you'll learn the traditional winemaking process. We'll go to a village with a bakery, and visit their Wine and Bread Museum. There will be more wine tasting in the village cellar, and you'll see the industrial process of making wine. Finally, I'll take you back to Porto City.

8:45 am - Meet me at the Train Station of S. Bento;9:10 - Departure to R□gua;11:08 - Scheduled arrival at R□gua train station;
Meeting with our guide to start the journey on the most beautiful road in the world;11:30 - Stop at Foz do T□vora quay for small regional tasting;
They will be served (cheese board and smoked) accompanied by wines of red table DOC Douro (Quinta do P□go)12:30 - Stop at the belvedere of Casal de Loivos (advised by UNESCO)13:30 - Reception on the lawns of Quinta da Avessada, to the sound of the concertina, with proof of White Wine, accompanied by Ball of meat, fruit jams, cheese board and appetizers;13:45 - Traditional lunch at Quinta da Avessada
Full menu.15:45 - Guided visit to the Adega Cooperativa de Favaios (getting to know the industrial method of producing muscatel wines), with wine tasting;
Wine tasting.16:30 - Arrival at the historic center of the Favaios Wine Village;
Guided visit to the Bread and Wine Museum;17:30 - Passage through traditional bakeries to taste bread baked in wood-burning ovens;18:00 - Return to the Hotel in the metropolitan area of Porto.20:00 - Estimated time of arrival (We bring the client from Favaios to his lodging unit)
