Stunning architecture, fascinating history, and arguably one of the finest Cathedrals in the world. This living, breathing church is open for everyone to enjoy. Take a guided tour (included in your admission charge) and learn about the fascinating stories which make up the Cathedral's history. Once the tallest building in the world, Lincoln Cathedral stands as a beacon for Lincolnshire and the country. Come and explore this beautiful place for yourself today. The Victorian writer John Ruskin declared: "I have always held... that the Cathedral of Lincoln is out and out the most precious piece of architecture in the British Isles and roughly speaking worth any two other Cathedrals we have."
