This was an incredible tour with a GREAT tour guide, Alessandra!! She brought the area to life with all the knowledge and insights she shared. The hike to the old mill was beautiful with the waterfall and bridge, too. The exclusive tasting tour of the area specialties at the Old Mill was prepared so well and the food was delicious! The tour of the area's historic sites and magnificent Lake Como tour that included the unique Villa Balbianello cannot be captured in words.... this is a REAL treat and truly a one-of-a-kind lifetime experience!

What an amazing and enjoyable day of touring and food Alexandra provided to our group of 8! Our visit to the olive oil mill was equally interesting and tasty. Both walking tours were filled with history and remarkable facts that would be missed without having experienced this tour. Villa Balbianello is incredibly amazing! We'd fallen in love with the villa in the movie A Month by the Lake and were not disappointed to see it in person. In addition to the well-organized guided tour of the unique home we were afforded the opportunity to observe a wedding taking place on the beautiful day when we visited. Our boat tour of the lake was quite informative as our verbally engaging driver Luca pointed out various villas and stopped the boat for photo ops. Alexandra was incredibly knowledgeable about Varenna,Belagio and the surrounding areas. She took the time to engage with each member of our small group of multi-cultural travelers while patiently assisting us and answering a multitude of questions from the group. Alexandra is a real gem!!! We highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic day out at on lake Como. Christina our tour guide was awesome. She knows the area really well and shared many stories and information with us. Lunch is great with entree, main and dessert on offer as well as great wine from the region. Villa Balbianello is memorising with stunning picturesque views at every turn. Loved this tour and would recommend this to anyone.

Great Day out on Lake Como . So nice to have all the travel arrangements done and be able to soak up the beauty and views without the heat and ques for ferries. Highly recommended

This tour is worth your time. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed with the tour.

Our original boating 3 hour boating trip was cancelled and we were told by Viator phone representative that this trip was very similar. I asked what percent was walking and I was told not a lot - there was a significant amount of boating and you could sit if you did not want to do much of the walking.
Not true! We walked over 5 hours, ate lunch for a little more than 1 hour and boated less than 1 hour. I felt pressured on the phone by Viator to book this as it was filling up. For a group of folks with bad knees and backs, this was not the ideal tour. For young people - it probably was quite amazing. Had we known and Viator been honest that there was considerable walking up and down hills and stairs, we would not have booked this. In summary, tour was very nice but not what we wanted to do. We would not have booked this had the sales representative been honest with us.
