Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long
This morning we set off for our drive to the town of Vinh long(130 km, ~2.5-3 hours). Upon arrival, we take a walk to see Vinh Long market. Then we will board our boat for a cruise along the maze of waterways and canals of the Mekong. Stop to visit Tien Chau pagoda and local brick & pottery workshops, pass a fish-raft village.

We will stop at a local restaurant for a sumptuous Delta lunch, including the popular dish of 'Elephant ear fish', before continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta.

On the way to homestay, visit the bigest nursery garden in An Binh Island. Towards the end of the day we arrive at the home of a local farmer family. Homestay arrival. Short cycling or walking to discover daily life.

Free for personal discovery and join the family in preparing dinner. Dinner and overnight in their house. (Lunch / Dinner)

Day 2: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City
Early start with the sounds of the delta, we have a short walk around the island to observe the daily activities of local farmers. Continue with our cruise, we arrive at Mr. Cai Cuong house, who was a former landlord house. Here, we can devour the fresh tropical fruits of the Delta, while having a brief South Vietnamese traditional music performed by local artists. We carry on with a visit to a Nursery garden, where you can see most of the Delta fruit tree seedlings. Last thing on our schedule is the famed Caibe floating market. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and have lunch on our stop on the way back to your hotel. (Breakfast/ Lunch)
