Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay (L/D) 8-8:30am: Pick-up at your hotel and start the 3 hour-and-a-half drive to Hong Gai Tourist Wharf, on arrival check in at Oriental Sails private waiting hall, The OS Lounge. 12-12:30pm: Embark on Calypso Cruiser followed by cruise briefing. 1-3:30pm: Savor a delectable lunch as Calypso Cruiser cruises further along the limestone islands of Bai Tu Long Bay and pass by Oan Islet (where a scene of the film L’Indochina with the famous French actress Catherine Deneuve). We pass other islets until we anchoring at the Titop Beach area. 3:30-4:30pm: Visit Titop Island and enjoy the panoramic views of Halong Bay or simply relax or swim on the beach. 4:30-5:30pm: Kayak to Luon Cave, a tunnel to a little bay surrounded by a mountain range. 6-10pm: Enjoy happy hour on the Sundeck and relax whilst taking photos of the beautiful scenery as the sun starts to set. You can then try your hand at a Vietnamese cookery class. Later dinner is served and then you can socialise with friends or join any of the following evening activities; night squid fishing or karaoke.
Day 2: Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay (B, L, D) 6-7am: Start your day with Tai Chi on sundeck. 7-8am: Have breakfast at sunrise. 8:30 5:30pm: Transfer to our day boat for a cruise to Lan Ha Bay. Have the whole day relaxing and kayaking around Lan Ha Bay the less touristic area of Halong. Discover Dark and Light Caves on kayaks, swim and relax on natural beaches. Drop by Halong Pearl Farm on the way back to our cruise boat. 6-10pm: Enjoy the sunset amongst this wonderful area and have another opportunity to take great photos. Enjoy dinner, partying, fishing or just relaxing on the boat.
Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (B/L) 6-7am: Start your day with morning Tai Chi or watch the sunrise. 7-8am: Breakfast. 8-9:15am: Join a guided visit to Sung Sot Cave, also called Amazing Cave, the most beautiful and the largest cave in Halong Bay. 9:30-10am: Check out of rooms and continue cruising this natural wonder of the world. 10:30-11:30am: Have lunch while cruising to Bai Tho Mountain next to the harbor. 11:30am: Disembark Calypso Cruiser. 12-4:30pm: Transfer back to Hanoi, arriving back at your hotel around 4:30pm.
