Meet your guide near the Grand Bazaar, and put on your provided headsets to help hear the commentary as you explore the market’s bustling lanes.

Stroll past stalls that peddle rugs, jewelry and handicrafts, and soak up the colorful atmosphere as your guide introduces the most interesting spots and shares useful tips to haggle with traders.

Leave the bazaar and climb a staircase to a relatively unknown vantage point. Ogle its rooftop views over Istanbul, and then visit the nearby Spice Bazaar. Explore the aromatic herb, spice and candy stalls as you learn about Istanbul’s culinary tastes and history, and pause to sample some of the more-exotic wares.

Next, board your boat for a 1-hour Bosphorus cruise. Relax on deck and admire the palaces and landmarks that flank both the Asian and European sides of Istanbul.

Step ashore across the Bosphorus and wander through a local fish market before you pass the Galata Tower. Lines to access the tower are often long, so visit a nearby rooftop cafe instead, and enjoy similar views without the crowds.
