Make your own way tolegendary Mandarin Oriental Hotel  one of Bangkok's finest luxury hotels where visitors have been staying for more than 135 years.

From the Hotel, take a short ferry ride on a Thai-style teak boat across the Chao Phraya River to the hotel’s famed Sala Rim Naam Restaurant.

Enjoy a set menu (see sample below) of classic Thai dishes in an elegant dining atmosphere. Admire the ornate d□cor of the Thai-style pavilion with its high ceilings, pitched roof and polished teakwood resembling a Thai temple, or wat.

As you dine, enjoy an approximate hour-long cultural performance on stage, including classical Thai dances, mock battles and scenes from popular Thai folklore. Admire the elaborate costumes and stylized movements of the graceful dancers as they perform. Against this charming backdrop, where riverboats travel up and down the Chao Phraya River, you’ll enjoy your lavish meal and dazzling entertainment!

  • Yaam talay: Spiced seafood salad
  • Mussamun nuea: Southern-style beef curry with sweet potato and onion

    The food was horrible. The only worst food I had in Thailand. After the show I had to take a taxi back to our hotel the driver never show up.

    The whole experience was great, from the arrival at the Mandarin Oriental wonderful!, to the crossing of the river in a beautiful boat and the Sala Rim Naam itself another gorgeous venue. The show was very cultural and fun, the dancers were beautiful and the music, very good. I would change the dinner menu a bit, for some of the dishes were quite underwhelming. One great thing is they had an alternate soup when I informed I did not eat shrimp.

    This was so amazing! Just a really exquisite evening spent with family! I wanted to know if there would be any possibility of getting this show on video? Unfortunately, my daughter's mobile was stolen out of her purse in Phuket. There was a portion of this on video:
