Travel itinerary
7.30 am Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok area and drive about 3 hours to Kanchanaburi.

10.30 am Arrive Kanchanaburi , visit " Bridge Over The Riverkwai " The Riverkwai has been imortalised through Pierre Boulle's novel about the dramatic events that took place when the bridge over the River Kwai was built and blown up. The book has been made into a film, and the melody " The River Kwai March " is also world famous. During the Second World War , the Japanese wanted to avoid going by sea to reach British India. The strength of the English Navy was frightening and at the same time it was long way from Japan around to Singapore and onto India. Instead, the troops had to be transported over land through the mountainous and impassable border area between Burma and Thailand. From 1942-1944 , 415 kilometres of railway was built with the terrain almost impassable, but the railway was completed and linked up with the existing train lines in Thailand and Burma. The railway is called The Railways of Death because hundreds of thousands of Asians and allied prisoners of war built the railways, and many of them died of disease and accidents.

11.30 am Transfer to elephant camp in Saiyoke district , you will have opportunity to ride and play with the elephants on the river.

13.00 pm Lunch at a local restaurant and then we walk to Krasae cave The cave lies in parallel with the railway of Kanchanaburi Nam Tok. The railway nowadays ends at Nam Tok station.
Krasae cave is a little cave that allows visitors to come inside and pay homage to Luang Po Tham Krasae which is the big Buddha image that the locals have respected for a very long time. Another highlight that any visitors should not miss is Tham Krasae Bridge which is very close to Krasae cave and Tham Krasae. The bridge is a wooded bridge 450 meters long. All these tourist attractions are located at Lum Sum Sub-District, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi.

15.00 pm Transfer back to Bangkok.

18.00 pm Arrive your hotel.
