Day 1: Lucerne ─ Engelberg ─ Mt Titlis ─ InterlakenYour trip departs from central Lucerne. Relax on the 40-minute drive south to the mountain resort town Engelberg. Here, board a cable car for a panoramic ride up Mt Titlis. Enjoy incredible aerial views on your way to the base station, and then transfer to the amazing TITLIS ROTAIR gondola, which rotates its way to the snow-capped summit.
Travel through the beautiful Bernese Oberland in the afternoon, stopping in the village of Brienz, a center of excellence for woodcarving. Finish your day in the scenic resort town of Interlaken, straddling Lake Thun and Lake Brienz at the base of the towering Eiger, M nch and Jungfrau peaks.
Overnight: 4-star Hotel Interlaken in Interlaken
Day 2: Interlaken ─ Bern ─ Gruy□res ─ Geneva (B)On your second day, head to Switzerland's capital city, Bern, for a tour of its UNESCO World Heritage listed Old Town. Then, venture south to the sprawling countryside, where the enchanting hilltop town of Gruy□res awaits.
You may recognize the name, as it's here where famous Gruy□re cheese hails from. Tour a local dairy factory to see how the region's tasty cheese is made.
Afterward, travel along the Vaud Riviera and witness the landscapes change as you arrive in metropolitan Geneva in the evening.
Overnight: 3-star Hotel Ramada Encore in Geneva
Day 3: Geneva ─ Lausanne ─ Montreux ─ T sch ─ Zermatt (B, D)Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, and then join your guide for a Geneva city tour. See major sights including Geneva City Hall, the UN European headquarters and the beautiful Lake Geneva.
Leaving Geneva behind, travel to Lausanne and Montreux, passing by 13th-century Chillon Castle, made famous by the Lord Byron poem The Prisoner of Chillon. Continue through Valais, the valley of the Rh ne River, to the cogwheel railway station in T sch.
Board a train and ride up to the mountain resort of Zermatt, dominated by the mighty Matterhorn. A symbol of Switzerland, this iconic Alpine mountain was the model for the famous Matterhorn ride at Disneyland.
Dinner and overnight at 4* Hotel Alex or similar if not available
Day 4: Zermatt ─ T sch ─ Airolo ─ Zurich (B)
Savor breakfast at your hotel, then the morning is yours to spend as you please: admire the town's quaint old farm houses, go shopping for souvenirs or local Swiss wares, or ride the cogwheel train up to snow-capped Gornergrat mountain (own expense).
Board an afternoon train to T sch and then transfer to a bus for a drive over stunning Nufenen Pass. End in Airolo, and then take a train or bus to central Zurich in the evening. Your 4-day journey ends here.

Although I do travel extensively, I do not usually post reviews of my activities. I felt, however, that this 4 day tour should be an exception. Let me begin by saying that both the driver and tour guide Emil, Philip were both professional, helpful, friendly and made the tour even more enjoyable. Let me continue by saying that everything promised in the advertisements published by Viator present an honest description, perhaps a bit understated, of the tour. The hotels chosen were everything that could be hoped for, possibly with the exception of Geneva since it was not located near any location that would interest a tourist in fact it was in a shopping center in the suburbs. At each stop Philip suggested an activity that he thought would be enjoyed by us and then suggested possible alternatives. Many photo opportunities were suggested by Philp during the bus ride and he explained what could be done for each overnight stop, including where to eat. The highlight for me was not Titlis, as the weather was less than desirable. The stop by the Matterhorn was the true highlight. We lucked out with a room with a view of the Mountain from both the window on the was and the one in the ceiling. This, of course, was just luck and should not be expected in the future. We had several hours both that night and the following morning to take pictures, explore the typical charming Swiss town and to take a RR both to and from the town. Do yourself a favor, if you have the time take this tour. You will not be disappointed

Our guide Phillip made the trip interesting and fun! He was very knowledgeable and totally committed to making the entire experience enjoyable. The main itinery as descibed was very nice and the additional quick stops of special interest were great. Would definately travel with Viator again if this was an indication of the quality of service and the quality of the chosen hotels.

The guide, Phlip, and driver, Emil, were both very professional, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed all of the trip except Mt. Titlis. It was a terrible facility and too crowded. An alternative more representative of Switzerland to that excursion would have been much better. Otherwise, the tour was wonderful.
