Visit the summit of Mt Titlis on an afternoon tour from Lucerne, where spectacular mountain vistas and a range of snow-themed attractions await. After arriving in Engelberg, ride on the aerial cableway to the summit of Mt Titlis for roughly two hours of free time. Entry to acclaimed glacier attractions such as the rotating Titlis Rotair gondola, Titlis Glacier Park, Ice Flyer chairlift, Glacier Cave and Cliff Walk ─ Europe’s highest suspension bridge ─ are all included.

This is a typical itinerary for this product

Pass By: Lucerne Station, Lucerne

Board your coach in central Lucerne, and travel south to Engelberg, a glorious alpine village tucked in the shadows of Mt Titlis.

Stop At: Mount Titlis, Engelberg, Canton of Obwalden

On arrival, hop aboard the aerial cableway with your guide, and then ride to the glacier’s summit ─ some 10,000 feet (3,020 meters) above sea level. The 45-minute journey is all about the views! As Engelberg slips from sight, the dramatic beauty of the Bernese Alps takes center stage, so sit back, ogle the vistas and relax.
At the top, how you spend your time is up to you. Make the most of two hours of mountaintop fun by strolling around the summit, feeling the crunch of snow under your boots while taking in the glacial landscape.

Stop At: Titlis Bridge, Engelberg, Canton of Obwalden

Or perhaps visit some of Mt Titlis’ renowned attractions. Admire 360-degree views aboard the rotating Titlis Rotair gondola; ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift and gaze down to the icy depths below; slip your way down the slopes while snow tubing in the Titlis Glacier Park; walk along the Cliff Walk for vertigo-inducing views; or visit the Glacier Cave to see millions of ice crystals in a frozen underground grotto, far below the glacier’s surface.
If the brisk mountain air makes you feel hungry, refuel with alpine fare at one of the summit’s several restaurants. All food and drinks are at your own expense. At the prearranged time, meet your guide for the descent back to Engelberg where your coach is ready to return to Lucerne.

The weather was unfortunately very snowy and cold even though we went in April, but we absolutely had a ball. George was a fantastic guide, and had so much patience with people who seemed unable to follow instructions regarding time to meet. Rebecca our tour guide was excellent, our driver sucked. We came off the mountain as requested by Rebecca and went to the bus and the driver wouldnt let us on until 5 PM, eventually he relented but the damage was done.The tour was a wonderful day of views and meeting wonderful people on the tour.

Great way to spend half a day from Luzern! Our tour guide was super friendly and helpful. The bus ride over is fairly short and we had plenty of time at the summit to explore on our own too. Would definitely recommend!

Our tour guide was very friendly and gave us clear instructions about the timing and meeting up spots, as well as, the tickets for the cable car up. We had enough time to cover all the fun snow activities such as tubing, sledging, ice glacier cave, and enjoy the view of the mountain.
