Meet your guide in central Interlaken and set off through the city to begin your tour. Nestled by the banks of the Aare River, beneath the soaring peaks of the Swiss Alps, Interlaken is widely considered among Switzerland’s most attractive towns.

Hop aboard a local bus with your guide and travel to the edge of town to visit a dairy farm. Gain insight into the age-old traditions and modern processes in place on the farm, and enjoy the opportunity to taste some of the fresh cheese and milk produced there.

Travel back into Interlaken and visit a woodcarver’s studio. Watch as the skilled craftsman demonstrates his art and gain insight into this old-fashioned Swiss handicraft. Afterward, continue on to the Funky Chocolate Club where the traditional art of Swiss chocolate making receives a modern twist. Learn of the history and culture of Switzerland’s famous chocolate industry and sample some of the delicious treats for yourself.

Next, visit a cheese store and listen as your guide talks of Switzerland’s many famous cheese varieties. Sample a selection of the cheeses on offer and gain insight into their complex and varied flavours and textures.

After three hours of exploring Interlaken and learning of Switzerland’s industries and traditions, food and culture, conclude your tour back near the center of town.
