Rushed , rushed ,rushed a very annoying tour

to see is to believe very special place to see

Was a great tour,we were picked up at our hotel at 8.30 am and returned at 8.00 pm. It was a very long day but good,the only downside was the tour rep who never stopped talking at all until we started our return trip home....

This was a great day, Paula our guide was excellent translating as we drove in 3 languages, she did not stop. Sights were sooo beautiful, lunch was great and restaurant hosts were so accommodating, kept coming back to offer seconds. Coach was comfortable and air conditioned. I had been before by car but would recommend this trip above driving yourself. Only thing I could fault was the visit to Nazare was just a drive through so it's beauty was not really captured which was a shame to those who were there for the first time. I would have liked to walk the fishing village a little but there was only a stop for photo and back on the bus, everything else was very good.

The places to see highly recommended but Isabella our guide was really bad. Her English was hard to understand, and her I don't care attitude annoying.

We enjoyed the tour very much and the guide was excellent. The only down side was that the meal was poor.

This day-long tour is a good optionif you have only a day to see the surrounding areas around Lisbon. It also means, unfortunately, each location is a short visit. It will be nice to have a bit more time, but then we need to consider the travel time from Lisbon to these areas. Anna was a great tour guide.

It was a great day traveling and see the different cities. Even the lunch was such a treat- a great day traveling outside of Lisbon

Visited four different places, all wonderful. However, too short to really appreciate the Obidos stop, and the Batalha stop for the Cathedral should have included entrance fee to the Cloister section. Lunch was very nice at Nazare.

This trip should have been entitled Fatima with a short stop in Obidos, two lovely bathroom breaks, a very nice lunch, and a long bus ride. We had 50 minutes in gorgeous Obidos, which I cannot recommend highly enough. Then a stop at Alcobaa where we had to wait until Mass was over to take a quick look around. We had a delicious lunch in the residential area of Nazare but the advertised beautiful seaside village was only seen as we whizzed by on the bus. The biggest disappointment was that we only had 25 minutes to visit the magnificent Batalha abbey. Our admission was advertised and we paid for it as part of the tour but we did not get it. When we attempted to go into the tomb area and other stunning places we were told that we had to pay another 6 Euros to do so. And since we were limited by that time to about 10-15 minutes none of us had the time to stand in the line to do it. Then we wasted 25 minutes at the Fatima factory on the pretext of using bathrooms when we would 10 minutes later walk past nicer bathrooms at the actual shrine. And we could have bought the same souvenirs at the shrine as we saw at the factory. The tour that was advertised as 9 1/2 hours actually took us 11 3/4 hours. I would not do this tour again.
