After selecting your tour route, head to one of the convenient meeting points and begin your 3-hour walk-on walk-off tour. Enjoy one of three walking routes, including the history of Castelo, the charm of Chiado or the heritage of Bel□m. Spend ample time at your favorite monuments and sights with one or two route options available from 24 to 48 hours, respectively.

Visit the castle known as Castelo de Sao Jorge on Castelo route, which explores some of the oldest corners of Lisbon. Climb the stone steps within the castle’s citadel, home to many different kings, rulers, myths and historic clashes. Capture Lisbon’s best vantage points from within the castle’s walls, and seek out the Tower of Ulysses for a chance to see a massive periscope. Then let your expert guide explain how the 1755 earthquake transformed Lisbon forever.

Experience the lure of of Lisbon’s architecture along the Chiado route. Wander with your guide through narrow streets and see amazing patterns of stone bend around corners of neoclassical architecture. Stop at Largo do Carmo, the only Gothic remnant remaining in Lisbon. Then visit the districts of Bairro Alto and Chiado where streets once overflowed with artists, melancholy fado singers and fine artisans.

Delve into Portugal’s explorative culture along the Bel□m route. Travel back in time to a period when the country set sail hoping to discover new routes to India. Then learn about the golden era in Portugal’s past and witness distinguished monuments rising from this UNESCO World Heritage site within Bel□m. Stroll the pristine gardens, pass near the light tower along the Tagus river waterfront, and taste Lisbon’s traditional egg tart, the pastel de nata (own expense).
