產品詳情

Start your tour at Chapultepec Park, the largest city park in the world and take a train up to the top of Chapultepec Hill and reach Chapultepec Castle (Castillo de Chapultepec). With this Viator Exclusive, you'll arrive as one of the first visitors of the day to explore the 12 halls of the 18th-century castle and enjoy the rooms and exhibits without being jostled by crowds.

During your 2-hour tour, wander through sun-lit halls, up and down marble staircases and into Neoclassical-style apartments. Hear about Chapultepec’s origins as a retreat for Aztec rulers before it was partially destroyed and rebuilt into the home of Emperor Maximilian of Habsburg. It then served as the residence for Mexico’s presidents before most of the castle was converted into the National History Museum. The exhibits trace the country’s history, from the pre-Columbian era through Spanish colonialism, to Mexico’s revolution and its independence.

Admire the state carriages of Benito Ju?rez and Emperor Maximilian, and learn the stories behind the sculptures and busts of historical figures. See the sword wielded by independence fighter Jos? Mar?a Morelos and gaze at murals of battles painted by famous artists, including Jos? Clemente Orozco, John O'Gorman and David Alfaro Siqueiros.

After the castle, purchase lunch at a local spot offering sandwiches, salads, and traditional dishes like chapatas and chilaquiles, along with coffee and tea.

Refueled, head to another section of Chapultepec Park and arrive at the world-class National Museum of Anthropology, the city’s most-visited museum spanning nearly 20 acres (8 hectares). Opened in 1964, the museum houses the largest collection of traditional Mexican art in the world.

Over the course of 2.5 hours, your guide takes you on an informative journey through the exhibits, showing you only the most impressive sites. Marvel at the Aztec Stone of the Sun, and the Olmec carved heads, uncovered deep in the jungles of Tabasco and Veracruz. Learn about the different cultural regions and indigenous groups that gave rise to this diverse capital city. (

Your 6-hour tour ends in the afternoon so you have the rest of your day to enjoy at your leisure.

You need to offer the elevator to seniors even if they can walk. The guide was great, very knowledgeable of the history

The tour and timing was very well organized and planned. Our guide was Kevin. He is a great guide with immense knowledge and perfect interaction with the members of the group. His switching between Spanish and English was so seamless and professional. He covered enough details and was great in holding the interest of the group throughout the trip. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the visit. We happened to meet him on two other days while we were with other guides, but we chatted and exchanged pleasantries. This trip was a great experience.

Do not miss the Museum of Anthropology or a visit to tthe castle . We only had another couple in our group. It felt like a private tour. Our guide was fantastic and the other couple in our group was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a small group of just 5 people. Our guide Daniel was amazing! We started our at the base of the castle and walked up to the castle. The castle has great exhibits showing the history of Mexico and how it came to be what it is today. Then once we finished the castle we walked with our guide Daniel toward the Anthropology museum and stopped for a snack and a drink before heading into the museum. Daniel just focused on the Mayans and the Aztecs and we were still there for a couple of hours. Had a fantastic day!

Our tour guide Daniel was great!! So passionate about the history of his country and a great personality, too just a fun person! Going to the castle early is smart you can climb up while it is still cooler out and there are no crowds. The crowd when we left the castle was insane compared to when we arrived. In between the two sites we had a 15-20 minutes break at Starbucks where our group chatted with each other and our guide like we were all old friends. After the tour ended, Daniel walked with my friend and I to the bus stop and helped us get on the right bus back to our hotel we were originally going to Uber back, but just kept walking because we were enjoying our conversation so much!. I knew basically nothing about Mexico history before this tour and now Im fascinated!! My friend and I kept googling things from this tour the rest of our trip.

It was fanatastic , our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the palace as well as the history of Mexico. Really enjoyed the day. Some tips or house keeping for future tours . Our guide did not have a Viator shirt on as described in the tour so we had to approach a few strangers at the meeting point before we found the correct person, would suggest an umbrella or sign if shirts are not available for staff. The meeting point was very large ,would suggest a more specific location be described. The tour of the palace required a very very steep walk, participants should be warned of possible issues with the climb. Also there was a long walk to the museum and then a the tour of the museum. Participants should be aware of the distance and length of this tour. I cant stress enough how fantastic the tour was, I guess we were not prepared for the length and the amount of walking. Finally we requested an English tour guide, and Sergios was great however we had a person that spoke no English join the tour which meant Sergio had to explain everything twice. Would highly recommend Sergio and this tour!

Our guide, Andres, was wonderful, providing plenty of information without overloading us. We gained a much greater knowledge of Mexican history and politics as well as seeing some beautiful things, and what we learned added to our ability to appreciate the later tours. Remember Iturbide!
One suggestion I would make for this and all of the Viator tours: The information you provide about meeting points and how to find them is insufficient. For example, the information on this one mentioned a monument to Los Ninos Heroes, but the monument itself does not use that phrase, and the police in the park weren't able to help us. We had to call twice to find our guide and the group.

Our guide Daniel Noguez was amazing!!! He did an amazing job and was like an Encyclopedia Brittanica, knowing so much more than I thought a tour guide would know. He didn't romanticize anything, instead gave us factual perspectives and was not only fun but extremely patient! If I go back I would only travel with Daniel! Thanks!!!!

This tour was amazing. We had a private tour from Ernesto who had excellent knowledge of Mexico’s history.

  • Veronica H2018-02-18

The early access to Chapultepec more than worth the price we paid. Our tour guide was nice enough but his English was not great. The museum of Natural History was amazing, however, it should have been on a separate day. Too much for one day, but overall a good experience
