Discover Mexico Park is located on Cozumel’s west coast, about 7 miles (11 km) south of San Miguel. Your admission ticket gives you access to all of the park’s features, described below (food, drinks and shopping at your own expense). Spend as much time as you like in the park until closing time, and enjoy a fun, family-friendly immersion into Mexico’s rich history and culture. Park guides will lead you through the attractions and provide informative commentary.

Outdoor Walk Through Time and Space:
Learn about Mexico’s different periods, from the Mayans to the Aztecs to the Spanish conquerors, on this beautifully landscaped walkway that takes you past scaled-down replicas of Chichen Itza, the ruins of Tulum, Mexico City’s Metropolitan Cathedral and Paseo de la Reforma, and other famous attractions.

Museum of Popular Art:
Admire authentic handmade crafts and other works of art created by native artisans from around the country. Such pieces include rare black-clay pottery, vibrant textiles and vases, and colorful alebrijes, folk art mythical animals carved out of wood.

Video Experience:
Watch a four-screen video collage that whisks you to important sites around Mexico, from the Riviera Maya to Oaxaca to Chihuahua, and educates you about Mexican culture along the way.

Mercadito Corona Snack Bar:
Watch tortillas being made, and sample aguas frescas, non-alcoholic flavored drinks popular in Mexico. These include jamaica, a tea drink made with hibiscus flowers, and horchata, made with ground almonds and seeds. You can also purchase a snack or a beer to enjoy while relaxing on the shady patio.

Hand Crafts and Souvenirs Shop:
Browse pottery, jewelry, scarves, rugs and other handicrafts to purchase for souvenirs or gifts. Some of the wares aren’t available anywhere else in the Caribbean or Latin America.
