In the evening, you are picked up from the New Miyako Hotel and taken via shared transport to the Takao Momijiya restaurant, located on the outskirts of Kyoto. Upon arrival, take a seat on the covered terrace and bask in the cool breezes as they purl off Kiyotaki River, one of Kyoto’s crystal-clear waterways. You might even spot fireflies twinkling around this natural habitat. During the 90-minute multicourse meal of Kyoto's seasonal delicacies, you get the pleasure of watching apprentice geisha (known as a maiko) perform traditional dances and music. Afterward, you get the chance to chat with them and take photos before you are driven back to the New Miyako Hotel in Kyoto.
