You will meet meet your guide at the Akshardham Metro station, and then walk over to the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple. Spanning an area of about 2 acres, the temple is by far the most imposing architectural monument in the Delhi.

Situated on the banks of the Yamuna river on the eastern face of the city, the Temple arena was constructed on the principles of Vastu Shastra and Pancharatra Shastra, and is an intricately carved structure. The monument, a careful blend of technical modernity and traditional style, consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 domes and more than 20,000 statues of various Hindu Sages, saints and Acharyas (teachers).
From there, visit the Garden of India. This area boasts an exquisite collection of bronze statues that honor India’s warriors, national patriots and personalities.
