Ajanta is truly amazing and our guide gave us an excellent tour. The caves were about two hours from our hotel. Our guide gave us information about the area we were passing through. We stopped on our way back to Aurangabad for a tasty lunch that was included in the price of the tour. We stopped in Aurangabad at a textile factory on our way back to see the work that has made Aurangabad famous. Ajanta is not to be missed.

The Ajanta caves are amazing, however, remember to take plenty of water as temperatures can get quite hot. Guide very informative and knowledgeable about all the caves. Very last cave the most memorable and picturesque!

Ajanta Caves is an awesome place. Our guide Ayaz was well-informed, though we thought he gave too much information for us to take in. Good late breakfast and lunch at an outdoor restaurant was good.
