Book your daytime or sunset tour and start your experience with a hotel andAirbnb pickup.
Daytime Tour (available April to early November):Travel by a modern air-conditioned minivan to the first of the three traditional wineries and, on route, learn from your guide about wine production on Santorini and the varietals that you may try during the day.
Producing some of the most distinctive wine in the Mediterranean, the island owes its success largely to aspa, a unique blend of volcanic soil that lends its wines a rich minerality andcrisp flavor. Grapes are grown in the shape of a basket close to the ground, allowing much-needed moisture from the island’s minimal rainfall to be retained effectively.
At each winery, enjoy a cellar tour with your guide to see how the winemaking process unfolds, from harvesting to maturing the wine. Plus, walk around a volcanicslope with vines to see the grapes first-hand, and sample glasses of Santorini wine galore up to 12 glasses in total.Try popular varietals such as assyrtiko and vinsanto, and enjoy local delicacies such as cheese andtapas alongside wine-tastings.
Sunset Tour (available May 15 to September 30):After visiting the Estate Argyros or Boutari Winery, continue with a wine-tasting session at the old family wineryof Gavalas and from there to the renowned Venetsanos Winery in time for Santorini’s legendary sunset. Head to the open-air terrace and enjoy acheese and tapas plateto complement your wines against a stunning backdrop of the caldera and Aegean, just as the sun sets over the sea. Enjoythe delicious sweet Vinsanto wine before finishing your trip with a hotel drop-off.
Approximate duration of Daytime Tour is 4,5 hours and Sunset Tour 4 hours.

The wines served during the tour are mainly whites and dessert wines, as these are the kind of wines the island of Santorini produces.This is a gentle note for guests that only drink red wine.

The tour includes plates of cheese and snacks served alongside wine-tastings at the wineries, not a full lunch or dinner. However keep in mind that the snacks served during tour will be adequate for the time-frame the tour lasts and maybe beyond.

Our host, Angelo, was incredible. Very knowledgable, accommodating, and made the day fun. I learned a bit about wine that I didn’t know before and enjoyed the wines and snacks offered. Keep in mind, Santorini is largely whites and dessert wines.

This was a fabulous tour. We did the sunset tour and visited 3 wineries and tasted 12 wines. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and offered a cheese pairing as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves wine and wants to know about the Santorini wines.

I brought 13 people to Greece and this was one of several activities I planned. It was wonderful!! I loved that they picked us up and brought us back to our hotel. We went to 3 wineries and our guide was wonderful explaining how the grapes are grown (much different for our wine region) and how wine was originally made. He was very knowledgeable about the different wines and what paired well with them. The sunset at the third winerey was spectacular! This is a definite must do!!

I enjoyed very much this tour. The tour guide was exceptional. I would only reduce either the amount of wines or the wineries, because in the end you don't really remember which wine you enjoyed the most. As for the rest, amazing tour!

This tour was amazing! Perfect for beginners. We learned a lot. Angelo is a really entertaining guide. We actually went without having breakfast but it wasn't a problem because the food pairings were more than enough. I highly recommend this tour.
