Amazing! This tour takes you back in time to the ancient Athens.Our guide Athanasios was fantastic, thought-provoking and a wealth of knowledge. This is a must do in Athens, cannot recommend this highly enough. We went on the tour with a classical student and someone who had never heard of the Acropolis and both left elated with the experience.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a tour I booked the morning of the tour and was not disappointed, it was a great decision.

This was a fairly detailed and longish tour - from 11:30 AM till about 3 PM. A short walk from near the Zeus Temple to the Acropolis and then, a slow, meandering walk around the Acropolis and Parthenon. The tour would have been boring and painful if it weren't for the extremely knowledgeable, talented guide - Eleni. She was the third Eleni we met that day! Not recommended for people who can't walk and stand much - there is a little bit of walking up inclines and it involves fair bit of just standing.
The museum is also worth the visit - but once again, history and art brought to life by our wonderful guide. The museum walk was probably about 1.5 hours 2 floors, going through various exhibits - with a bonus exhibit of a bust of Alexander.
I would not recommend this for kids - unless they are into Greek mythology and history.
There were toilet facilities in the Parthenon and of course the museum. The museum also has a cafeteria which offers a decent view of the Acropolis.
Excellent tour if you have limited time in Athens to understand and appreciate Greece well.

If I would have known the total price I wouldn’t have booked this tour. And they probably know that, so that is why they charge you more for tickets when you get there. I will say the guide was very nice and knowledgeable but this tour is not worth 49 euros per person for just the guide. That is the most expensive tour I have been on, when you calculate a group of 10-15 at 49 euros just for the guide that is minimum 500 euros. The Vatican was expensive but the guide portion was about 30 per person. With the total fee listed on the site at 49 euros your would think 25 goes towards tickets and 24 for guide. But nope, you have to pay an additional 25 euros for tickets when you arrive which makes your total 79 euros per person. They should charge 79 online that way it is transparent, but I bet less people would book it and just book a skip the line pass for 29 euros.... look for other tours that include tickets, keeping in mind tickets for both are only 25 euros (20 for acropolis and 5 for museum) or just pay for skip the line.

Our tour guide, Chris Konidari, was our informative and friendly guide. Her passion for the history and sights of Greece on Acropolis Hill and the museum was very evident. She took time to answer our questions and was always aware of our comfort -- making sure we stopped to rest in shady areas. We were awe struck by the amazing sights on Acropolis Hill and at the museum, and we learned so much that day so much we never knew before from Chris. We would recommend this tour as a must to anyone going to Athens!
