Spend eight days exploring Croatia’s atmospheric coastal towns and gorgeous islands and peninsulas. Traveling by sailboat yacht, start in Dubrovnik and make your way to Ston, Mljet, Korcula, Blace, Brac, Hvar, Split and Rogoznica, ending in Trogir on your last day.
In each place you visit, you’re free to create your own itinerary and explore at your leisure. The included activities are listed in the itinerary below. Your expert skipper has extensive knowledge of the region, and can give you suggestions on where and how to spend your time, as well as provide commentary on local history and culture. If you're interested in delving deeper into the local culture at a specific location, your skipper can recommend a local guide service.
You’ll spend the night on board the 50-foot (15-meter) yacht in double or twin cabins (a slightly smaller or bigger yacht will be used depending on the group size). Though not a luxury cruise, this sailing experience is a true adventure. The boat features all of the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable experience, including three shared bathrooms, two showers and a kitchen to prepare your daily breakfasts and lunches.

Day 1: Dubrovnik Slano
Your 8-day adventure departs from Dubrovnik. Before you leave, be sure to check out this amazing Croatian city, which is touted as the jewel of the Dalmatian Coast and the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic.’
Head to Hotel Petka at 3pm to meet your guide and small group. You’ll be driven to the nearby village of Slano, located on the Bay of Slano, to board your sailing vessel. Learn the ropes of sailing from your expert guide and then settle in and begin sailing along the Bay of Slano to Ston.

Day 2: Ston Mljet
Arriving in Ston, a fortified town on an isthmus joining the mainland and the Peljesac Peninsula, disembark to wander around the charming, red-roofed town with its jumble of narrow streets built to confuse invaders in medieval times.
Your guide will explain the long history of salt production in Ston. During your free time, head to a restaurant to sample a plate of local oysters, plucked fresh from the Ston Channel.
After your time in Ston, cast away over the turquoise waters of the Adriatic to the island of Mljet, legendary in ancient history as the idyllic island where the shipwrecked Odysseus lived for seven years. Today Mljet is a haven of lush forests and small villages.
Spend the rest of the day venturing through Mljet National Park. Admire the sapphire-blue lakes, pine forests and deep gorges throughout this amazing park, and discover the fascinating Roman ruins.

Day 3: Mljet Korcula
Leave Mljet behind and head out to sea again, this time cruising along the Peljeski Channel to the romantic and evocative island of Korcula, the rumored hometown of one of history’s most intrepid travelers, Marco Polo.
Lounge on one of Korcula’s lovely beaches or experience the wonders of Old Town, which reflects the many diverse influences that have shaped Korcula’s long history.

Day 4: Korcula Blace
On your fourth day, sail to the small, out-of-the-way village of Blace, skirting the pebble beaches, pine groves and rocky cliffs of the Peljesac Peninsula along the way.
Known as 'the California of Croatia,’ this semi-circular bay fringed by pine trees is surrounded by mountains, a river delta and numerous colorful fruit farms where mandarins and other citrus fruit are grown in abundance. Spend time wandering through town on foot or spread out on the beach for an afternoon of relaxation and bliss.

Day 5: Blace Brac
Your fifth day takes you to Brac, the largest island in central Dalmatia boasting a distinctly Mediterranean landscape: dramatic rocky cliffs lined with beautiful beaches, picturesque seaside towns set among steep cliffs, and countless olive, fig and almond groves.
If you're feeling active, strap on some snorkel gear and swim out across the jewel-like water in search of colorful sea creatures; otherwise, you can simply lie back on famous Zlatni Rat Beach, enjoy a meal in the Old Town of Bol, or sample local wine at a winery.

Day 6: Brac Hvar
Continue with a trip to Hvar, an island paradise that boasts well-preserved Renaissance buildings, rolling fields of lavender, a bubbly bar and restaurant culture and some of the finest beaches in Croatia.
Admire the dramatic cliffs, ancient olive groves and wonderfully preserved Renaissance facades as you stroll through the main town. You’ll be awed by the much-lauded beauty of this Croatian island.

Day 7: Hvar Split Rogoznica
From Hvar, sail away to the city of Split, the largest Dalmatian city and the second-largest in Croatia. Spread over a central peninsula and comprising nearby seaside towns, Split is home to a picturesque harbor and renowned Diocletian Palace ruins some of the most impressive in the Mediterranean. Soak up the vibrant mixture of history and present-day delights as you explore by foot.
In the afternoon, continue sailing through the Kastela Gulf to the Rogoznica Peninsula, a popular tourist village where you’ll have the rest of the day to explore on your own.

Day 8: Rogoznica Trogir
Your final destination is Trogir, tucked between the mainland and the island of Ciovo. Admire this breathtaking medieval island city, which boasts a proud medieval history reflected in its impressive walls and grand buildings. You'll arrive around 3pm.

Travel insurance that covers medical expenses, including emergency repatriation, is required to participate on this tour; proof of insurance must be shown to your tour leader on the first day.
We suggest bringing one medium-size suitcase or backpack per person, weighing no more than 15kg/33lb.
On this trip it's compulsory to contribute to a kitty. The kitty is an
on-ground payment put into a central fund managed by travellers. It
helps fund for breakfast and lunch on the boat and other small items
such as ice, water, snacks and drinks. Travellers are responsible for
the preparation of these meals onboard and to shop at port where
supermarkets are often very close to the mooring. Kitty amounts are
subject to change to reflect local price increases. On day 1, the
skipper will talk through the kitty and how it will be managed (by
yourself or fellow travellers) The kitty will be collected when you
arrive at the welcome meeting or in stages throughout your trip.
