Small-group tour

Swap Dubrovnik’s marble streets, red-roofed buildings and ancient city walls for the untamed natural beauty of rural Dalmatia. Drive along the sun-kissed coast to the secluded town of Cavtat, Sivi Soko viewpoint and Sokol Kula fortress. Then, travel into the luscious Konavle Valley, passing the farms and vineyards that supply fresh produce to the surrounding areas. See centuries-old watermills along the Ljuta River and enjoy an alfresco lunch before heading back to Dubrovnik via Cavtat, should you choose. 產品介紹

Meet your guide and air-conditioned minivan outside your hotel or at the cruise port in Dubrovnik. Then set off along the beautiful Dalmatian coast, arriving roughly 30 minutes later in Cavtat.

Gaze out of the window as you drive through the medieval town’s streets, where ancient ruins sit alongside chic hotels and restaurants. See, too, the 2,000-year-old harbor and the palm-shaded promenade that spreads out before the Old Town. You can visit Cavtat on the journey back to Dubrovnik from Konavle Valley; simply let your guide know at the beginning of the day.

Stop at Sivi Soko, a popular viewpoint that affords breathtaking views of Cavtat, Konavle Valley and the red rooftops of Dubrovnik. Spend a few moments snapping photos before continuing to Sokol Kula, a history-steeped fortress that sits atop an 82-foot (25-meter) cliff overlooking the valley.

Explore the ancient stronghold, which dates back to the Illyrians and Romans, and see relics such as medieval jewelry and weaponry. Then travel down into Konavle Valley, which supplies fresh produce, meat and wine to the surrounding regions.

Weave along the country roads, passing sleepy villages nestled amid orchards, vineyards, farms and pine forests. Visit the 400-year-old watermills in Ljuta village, and then sit down to an alfresco lunch of local meat and cheese, accompanied by Konavle wine and several different varieties of Dalmatian liquor.

With your appetite sated, travel back to Dubrovnik ─ stopping off in Cavtat along the way, if you wish ─ where your tour concludes at the original start point.
