Your IKO (Internation Kiteboarding Organization) certified instructor will ensure that you have a safe and fun experience as you take on the waters of the Lagoa da Conceio. With top-notch gear and knowledge, you'll feel like you're in safe hands!
The kites have a simple safety system and they are easy to relaunch from the water, making them have predictable steering and stable power which is needed while riding. Although new kites have big wind range, there are various sizes to choose from which will be tailored to your weight and the weather conditions.
There is no age limit, but you will need to weigh at least 40kg (88 pounds). You need to be able-bodied but you don not need to be strong, since all you'll need to do is steer the kite from the harness. All experience levels are welcome! Included in your lesson is a safety orientation session where you'll learn about the use of the kite and how to react to different wind speeds and directions.
