This tour to Costa da Lagoa can only be accessed by trail or boat, and you'll experience both ways on this tour! Once colonized by Azoreans, the people that came to Brazil from Portugal in the 1705, Costa da Lagoa still retains traces of the culture that was instilled hundreds of years ago. Evidence of this can be seen in the local cuisine, mainly derived from seafood as well as historic artisanal fisheries.
This place has a gorgeous look to it and you'll enjoy hiking to it. The trail, which has been used since 1705, is considered easy to hike and is recommended for people of all fitness levels. Once in Costa da Lagoa, you'll visit a waterfall with crystal-clear water, and take the afternoon to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. The environment is stunning, and on the way, you'll have the unique chance to visit old houses and abandoned mills.
