Lace up your running shoes and get ready to discover Buenos Aires in a whole new way! Whether off or on-road, our running tours take you past some of the greatest landmarks, main attractions, points of interests and natural beauty this exciting city has to offer.
You have your choice between a city route that takes you through the streets of Buenos Aires highlighting La Boca, a working-class neighborhood known for its colorful houses, its tango and its soccer team (Boca Juniors), or an off-road route that takes you through the dirt path trails of an expansive nature reserve boasting panoramic views of the Rio de la Plata ("River of Silver") and city. Each tour covers an approximate distance of 10k or 6.25 miles and takes between 1-2 hours depending on your pace.
Both tours begin in the trendy, modern neighborhood of Puerto Madero, where your friendly runner guide will be waiting to greet you. Before starting the run, you'll do some brief stretching exercises together while learning about the area and running route of the tour. Your guide will provide you with a small bottle of water and can help carry up to 3 in his/her pack. After the brief stretch and introduction, you'll begin your run at a pace that feels most comfortable for you. There will be roughly 4-5 stops (depending on the route) allowing for plenty of time to take photos and rehydrate.
On the La Boca route, you'll pass through 3 vastly different neighborhoods, Puerto Madero, La Boca and San Telmo, with the highlight being La Boca, a working-class neighborhood known for its colorful houses, its tango and its soccer team (Boca Juniors). On the Ecological Reserve route, you'll run through winding dirt paths meandering through marshlands, lagoons, grassy areas and shaded forests, stopping along the way at several scenic viewpoints.
Both tours end in Puerto Madero with a final stretch of the muscles, arms and legs. A great way to see the city while burning off a few extra calories!
