It was Ernest Hemingway who introduced the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona to the world, so what better way to celebrate than to watch the bull run, then meet in the Rincon de Hemingway to swap stories with other travelers and aficionados. The Cafe Irua is the most emblematic cafe in Pamplona, was the first establishment with electric light, one of the favourite spots of Ernest Hemingway and today, is the meeting point of Pamplona's locals.

This cafe has two parts, the main salon and a hidden treasure, El Rincon de Hemingway, a charming and quiet corner where you can travel back in time and feel what inspired the writer during his visit to the Running of the Bulls.

From July 7th to 14th, we close this venue to offer an exclusive breakfast only for our guests. You will have a full breakfast with typical Navarran products like Chistorra (Red Sausage), Tortilla de patatas (Spanish Omelette), Churros with Chocolate, and more.

30 days before travel, we will send your meeting point info. You must be at the door at 6:45am sharp. Since the police close the streets at 7:00am your purchase is forfeitted if you do not arrive on time.
