When you book, choose the option that best suits your ability. Then, on the day, enjoy a pickup from your hotel in Lanzarote and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Reducto Beach in Arrecife.
Sometimes known as paddlesurfing or by its acronym SUP, stand-up paddleboarding is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports. It’s a great way to get onto the water, and you only need basic swimming skills. Plus, if you get tired, all you need do is sit or lie on your board.
On arrival at the beach, change into your swim suit and listen to a safety briefing from your certified instructor-guide. Then, get started on your small-group experience using the supplied rental equipment.
Whichever option you choose, you’ll be in a small group with a maximum of four participants. Both options end with a drop-off back at the original starting point.
2.5-hour Experience for Beginners
If you’re a first-timer, get to know the basics with this 2.5-hour introduction. Meet your instructor and start with a lesson on land to get to grips with your board and paddle. Then, when you’re confident, grab your board and head into the water.
Practice standing up and balancing, and learn about ocean awareness and how to steer and perform turns. Then, once you’ve mastered the basics, explore the gentle waters close to shore and paddle to your heart’s content.
4-Hour Experience for Adept Paddleboarders
Been paddleboarding before? If so, you’ll find it easy to paddle off Reducto Beach. Meet your guide, grab your supplied equipment, and wade in.
Then, follow your guide along Lanzarote’s scenic coast to visit hidden bays and beauty spots. Watch for marine life and enjoy the views as you skim over the sea, and afterward, refuel with a complimentary sandwich, biscuit and fruit juice.
