Day 1: Paris Mont St-Michel St-Malo
You’ll be picked up from your central Paris meeting point in the morning and driven by luxury coach to Normandy. Venturing away from the metropolitan cityscape, this scenic 5-hour drive takes you through the beautiful wooded forests and open pastures of northern France.
Arrive at Mont St-Michel, an iconic UNESCO World Heritage site perched on a rocky islet in the midst of a vast bay. Take a guided tour of the Gothic-style Benedictine abbey with your guide while learning about its ancient history as a strategic fortification. Following your Mont St-Michel tour, enjoy free time for lunch in the surrounding village.
You’ll then hit the road to continue to the region of Brittany, passing through the beautiful countryside on your way to St-Malo, your next destination. Check in to your hotel and have dinner in town on your own.

Day 2: St-Malo Dinan Cap Fr□hel Rennes Angers (B)
Start your morning with a buffet breakfast at your hotel before taking a panoramic tour of St-Malo. You’ll soon discover why this is one of the most-visited places in Brittany.
See the highlights of this walled port city on a walking tour while hearing stories about its history of piracy from your guide. See sights like the 17th-century city walls and the Cathedral of St-Vincent and then have time to shop or explore on your own to see more sights like the tomb of the famous writer Chateaubriand (depending on the tide).
Leaving St-Malo behind, drive to the medieval town of Dinan and wander the cobbled streets, feeling like you have just stepped back in time. Explore Place des Cordeliers or Place des Merciers during your free time for lunch.
You’ll then head to Rennes, the capital of Brittany, for a guided sightseeing tour. Strategically situated since ancient Roman times, Rennes now sits at a junction linking the major cities of northwestern France. Learn about Rennes’ fascinating history as you wander the elaborate and stately city center and charming old town filled with lively pubs and restaurants. Sights you’ll see include the town hall, Parlement de Bretagne and Rennes cathedral.
At the end of the day, relax on the 2-hour drive south to Angers, the capital of the Maine-et-Loire department and the western gateway to the Loire Valley. Check in to your hotel and have dinner in town on your own.

Day 3: Angers Ch□nehutte-Tr□ves-Cunault Villandry Azay-le-Rideau Poitiers (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, your day starts with a tour of Angers. This lively riverside city is rich with history and full of atmospheric pedestrian streets offering great shopping and dining. Its claim to fame, though, is its tapestries, most notably the 14th-century Apocalypse Tapestry inside Ch teau d’Angers.
You’ll see this tapestry up-close on a guided tour of the Mus□e Jean Lur at et de la Tapisserie Contemporaine (Contemporary Tapestry Museum). Inspired by the Duke of Anjou, this tapestry is touted as the largest in the world at 459 feet (140 meters) long.
Leave Angers for a drive along one of France’s most picturesque routes, through the gorgeous flat, green plains of the Loire Valley. Stop in Ch□nehutte-Tr□ves-Cunault to see the outside of Ch teau de Saumur and have free time for lunch.
Next, head to Ch teau de Villandry, renowned for its luxurious three-tiered gardens. Tour the castle’s maze of beautiful gardens and fountains at your leisure.
Your last stop in the Loire is the 16th-century Ch teau Azay-le-Rideau, considered one of the finest examples of early French Renaissance architecture.
You'll then continue south to the city of Poitiers in the Poitou-Charentes region where your tour ends at the Hotel Ibis Centre in the late evening. From here, you're free to then stay on in the city or continue your discovery of France independently.
