Board the boat near Gare de Lyon and opposite Gare d’Austerlitz, one of the largest and most attractive train stations in the city, located on the eastern side of Paris. Perhaps enjoy an aperitif out on the sun deck before you cruise west along the Seine, admiring the age-old buildings, monuments and museums that line the historic riverside.
Your river cruiser is 197 feet (60 meters) long and boasts 24 comfortable, air-conditioned cabins, restaurant with panoramic views throughout and bar and reception area.
Pass Port St-Bernard, a beautiful quay stretching along the riverbank, and admire the Jardin des Plantes. As night falls, drift under Pont Marie and Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, and continue past the stately Louvre Museum and Jardin des Tuileries.
Onward to the National Assembly, the Port des Champs-Elysees, Pont de l’Alma and the Champs de Mars. Then gaze wide-eyed at the imposing Eiffel Tower, your turn-around point.
With Paris' city lights dancing over the rippling waters, sit down to a romantic 4-course dinner (see sample menu below). Continue past Ile St-Louis and Ile de la Cit□, home to iconic Notre Dame Cathedral, and take in stunning panoramic views from the windows lining the dining area. On certain nights of the week, live entertainment is also included to enhance your cruise experience.
Moor back at the dock near Gare de Lyon, and spend the night in your own peaceful and private cabin aboard the boat. The cabins’ comfortable queen-size beds are 4.5 feet (140 centimeters) wide, and with air-conditioning and private bathrooms throughout, you’re sure to sleep soundly on board.
The following morning, perhaps enjoy a buffet breakfast on board at your own expense, and then disembark your boat to conclude your tour.
