Our tour was great. Great experience and very emotional. We were pick up on time at our hotel. Lunch was wonderful, shame the time was so short considering the dishes that were served. Tour guide, Remy, was extremely hard to understand. He kept the tour on time but as a guide he was really very disappointing. A guide makes the tour excellent , good or bad. I have to say, that this tour with a good guide could have been excellent but our experience with him had little to be desire. He talked to a guide in training in the bus the whole trip back from Normandy. He could had made the trip much more interesting by describing about the area and the war.

Great tour! Tour guide was excellent! Very knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. Lunch was great! Only wish we had spent more time at the American Cemetery and the museum. Would add that this trip may be difficult with young kids.

I am a serious history buff so this was high on my bucket list. The plusses...highly emotional day for the son of a WW II American vet. The realism of the severity of the bombardment is evident at Pont du Hoc. Huge shell craters and the remains of the German bunkers attest to the force of the shelling. To be able to walk on Omaha Beach was quite moving. The negatives...too long at the Caen museum. While this is like a quick highlight tour of the war and the causes leading to it, I would have liked more about D Day itself and not about the Holocaust, Pearl Harbor, the Blitz, etc. it was a very long day made longer by a pointless ride to Juno Beach but not access to the Canadian Memorial there. The tour guides were pleasant and informative to a degree but had a number of misstatements and exaggerations.

This was a highlight of my trip. The walk through history, and the imagery is incredible. The guide was excellent and the commentary outstanding. The sites visited were a must see for anyone that appreciates the history and the sacrifices made at this time in history. Felt a little rushed at some of the sites, and would've liked to have time to stroll through some of the towns that were destroyed and now are rebuilt during WWII. We zoomed past a lot of things I would have liked to have taken a closer look at. The lunch was excellent, served at the main museum, which had fantastic displays. Lots of short films, which we didn't have time to see all. Totally worth a guided tour to get the stories and images from the time period. December a good time to visit, not too crowded.

It was a full day, we felt rushed but understand we had lots to cover. Transportation was great and Hellen our tour guide was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs.

I had been staying in Paris for the last three months and I was trying to put together all my own to visit Normandy, this trip took the hassle out of everything. A delicious lunch was provided and we were able to hit all the marks.

Our guide, Frederich, was superb!!! Very knowledgeable and fun to be with!!! We hit all of the top spots and had a fabulous lunch in a country farmhouse/hotel!!! Would highly recommend this tour with this guide!!!!

We went to Normandy yesterday with Paris City Vision abd enjoyed the long day from Paris! The tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable which made the long bus ride pass quickly the stops at Caen and the beaches also very good only criticism was the lunch very expensive for barely edible food!!! No choice chicken roll was horrible and “salad bar “ with few choices!! I wish we had brought our own food because we were both very hungry after the lunch then stop on the way back at a gas station for sandwiches was a joke so if you go on this tour bring your own food and snacks and you will save yourself some $$$ and enjoy the day!!

Bus was one of the most uncomfortable busses ever. Small, tight seats that dug into the butt, I am 5ft 6 and 130 pounds and I was extremely uncomfortable, heavier people were worse off. Tour guide was nice, provided average commentary but nothing special or outstanding.

We were able to see a lot in just one day. The travel time from Paris went quickly as the tour guides gave interesting narrative during the drive. I might have preferred a quicker bag lunch and more time at the museum rather than an hour for a sit down lunch though. This was definitely worth the time and money to attend and we would recommend it to others.
