As you savor four different wines, learn about the art of wine tasting, the different varieties of grapes used in the winemaking process, and how to use your sense of sight, smell and taste to fully appreciate the flavors.You’ll also sample three different varieties of French cheeses. Your expert host will explain how different types of cheese are categorized by their rinds, such as floral rind cheese, like Camembert and Brie, and hard rind cheese, like Emmental and Comt□. Our teacher/apartment owner was extremely knowledgable and made the whole experience quite entertaining. This was in a wonderfully quaint Paris apartment and we felt like we were visiting our distant relative. A great experience---highly recommend---especially if you get Myriam...she was terrific!

We had a great time on this tasting. Our host was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. The blind tasting was a great way to be unbiased when talking about the wines and picking out the flavours. Having the tasting in a real Parisian's home was also a great experience. Would definitely recommend this one!
