Excellent walk about the Marais filled with nooks and crannies you may never knew existed bar for the happy tour guide. Vey helpful to get perspective on the area, it's occupants and life's' impacts on it's inhabitants :-

Very interesting tour of the District's small streets and interesting buildings that we would not have seen on our own. The historical context made them more than just facades to pass by.

So great that I took it twice!

My husband and I have always loved the Marais district for its charm and liveliness. We saw the Marais but did not know it. This tour brought it to life in a way we could not do by ourselves. Kit was a remarkable guide, explaining both the architecture and the history of each place we saw. Kit brought to life the many French revolutions. My husband laughed that Kit should have been his history teacher, We saw the interior of several churches and Hotel Particulars most notably Place des Voges and Hotel Sully. The most poignant part of the tour was Kit showing us plaques listing the young French children who died in concentration camps in WW2. We highly recommend this tour.
