The Chagall Museum was interesting as it displayed some of his largest works.The Villa Ephrussi was absolutely stunning. Besides the villa and gardens, the views were wonderful. The one disappointment was that the Matisse Museum was closed, and this should have been pre-determined before we started the tour. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This tour was awesome. The Chagall Museum and Matisse Museum were very interesting. Smaller collections, but prolific nonetheless. What made this trip was a our tour guide Greg and b the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Our driver was so nice, great driver and gave us all sorts of information as we were driving. He showed us some beautiful spots for photo ops and even helped us decide on additional tours. The Villa and gardens were breathtaking. Although the heat/humidity was insane that day, I really enjoyed this tour. I highly recommend it!

Everything we hoped and more and that guide made it an even more special experience

We had a excellent tour guide. She was easy to understand and very knowledgeable. At the end of the tour, she asked our opinions, and she made our unanimous opinions part of her plan to improve the time future visitors would spend at each venue. We ALL loved the Chagall Museum the best and feel that spending way too much time at the Villa Rothschild was the biggest needed change. We also felt the Matisse Museum was not great, as it was so small. Apparently, most o the actual Matisse paintings are around the world in bigger museums.

All sites were fabulous, but more time needed to be allotted for Chagall Museum.

Tour was just a driver- Uber a better investment

Matisse Museum not worth the time

The tour was basically just transportation in a comfortable van to the three sites which we visited on our own without a guide. It probably should be described as a car or transportation service since the van had no microphone, so any commentary the driver made was inaudible in the back seats. However, given the difficulties with traffic, I doubt that the driver could safely provide commentary and we never could have taken in these museums in the time frame allowed without hiring a taxi. On that basis, it was was a useful service at a reasonable price for door-to-door service that included pick up and returns to places from Cannes to Nice with a very pleasant and accommodating driver.

Wonderful trip, made all the better by our guide Camille. She was excellent. The Villa and Gardens were the highlights for us. The Villa was beautiful, but the garden and views are breathtaking. Although we do not appreciate so much modern art we did think that for fans of Chagall and Matisse the museums were extremely well laid out.
Again a big thank you to Camille for such a wonderful trip.
