Your naturalist guide will take you north along the scenic route to Mossman, where lush farmland contrasts with coastal scenery as you approach the majestic Daintree River. Board your vessel for your informative Daintree River cruise and enjoy morning tea as your glide on the water.Relax and enjoy the Daintree's splendor as you learn about estuarine crocodiles and mangrove forests, and enjoy nature at its best.
After your cruise you will be guided to the National Park Board Walk. You'll ascend the Alexandra Range and pause for panoramic views of the tropical rainforest merging with the Coral Sea. You will have a scrumptious barbecue lunch with homemade salads and Australian wine. While at lunch you might have the opportunity to hand-feed the wallabies.
After lunch there is no set timetable or schedule, so throw away your watch and enjoy elevated walks through Cape Tribulation with your experienced guide, with ample time for questions and photographs. Make your way to Emmagen Creek which is a 7 kilometer track up along the 4WD-only Bloomfield Track and swim in the freshwater. From here we head to Cape Tribulation Beach to enjoy a stroll along the beach or walk to the photographer's platform for amazing photo opportunities.
On your return journey there will be a short afternoon refreshment stop where you can pat a kangaroo, have a beer or sip a cup of local tea, feeling fully refreshed from your "Rainforest Experience" at Cape Trib.

This started out to be a wonderful trip. Our guide, Gavin, was very knowledgeable and chatty and told us all sorts of interesting stories as we headed up the road. The river cruise was great and we saw a huge crocodile, among other interesting things. Unfortunately, due to the recent storms, there was a mudslide on the road ahead to the rainforest so we were unable to proceed. Gavin was really apologetic and took us to the Mossman Gorge, where we had a nice walk and he told us about all the plants we saw. This was not on the schedule, and he didn’t have to do it, but he was trying to make up for the missing part of the trip, even though it was totally due to circumstances beyond his control. We didn’t get lunch, because that was supposed to be in the rainforest, but we did have a lovely platter of exotic fruits. I would highly recommend this trip and Gavin as a guide!

Great tour!! Full day but every was entertaining, educational and beautiful. Really enjoyed our guide as they were knowledgeable and took care of us. It was wonderful being in a small group tour vs the big coach buses. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

We enjoyed the short cruise on the Daintree River, finding snakes and seeing crocodiles. We found the rest of the tour for the most part, rushed and uneventful. One could barely appreciate the view as the bus was going fast most of the time. I expected our bus to drive through the Bloomfield river/creek like the other busses but we didn't do that. Lunch and tea break were good.

Great tour with Neville Prentis of Billy Tea Safaris. The tour has a lot of driving but it definitely worth it to see this beautiful landscape. Highly recommend!

Fin was an amazing guide with a lot of useful and interesting information. We fit so much into one day, yet it never felt rushed. Such fun feeding the wallabies.

Early morning pickup, then a long ride to Daintree, stopping for coffee. The boat trip on the river was beautiful and the guides were good. we stopped to feed wallabies before eating steaks and salad prepared by our guides. went to a swimming hole, tasted tropical fruits and had Billy Tea. Then a short ferry ride and bus back to our pickup locations. Called Billy Tea Safaris.

Very interesting tour and great way to see the rainforest. Good comprehensive trip with the river cruise, raintree hiking and time at Cape Tribulation. Our tour guide, Neville, WA se trembly knowledgable and entertaining. He definitely made the tour more enjoyable. Great time and highly recommend this trip.

Once again the day was made special by excellent tour guide Matthew. We had a great day, saw some crocodiles and snakes and had the merest glimpse of a cassowary. Well worth doing in the small group.
