After making your way to Ogden-Hinckley Airport in the morning or afternoon, board a deluxe, fixed-wing airplane and take a panoramic window seat for exquisite aerial views. While in Utah, the 2.5-hour round-trip scenic flight soars above the stunning rock formations of Bryce Canyon National Park. Listen to onboard narration to learn about the unique geological features of the canyon’s orange-hued hoodoos ─ oddly shaped limestone spires worn away by ice and rainwater─as well as its colorful amphitheaters, windows and fins.

Flying into Arizona, you’ll get an aerial tour of the Grand Canyon with close-up views of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Take in the sights of famous natural landmarks along the South Rim before landing at the Grand Canyon airport.

Embark on a 4-hour walk along the Rim Trail, providing 360-degree views of the canyon. Follow your guide from Pipe Creek Vista to Hermit’s Rest, a National Historic Landmark built in 1914. The beginning section to Maricopa Point is paved and mostly wheelchair accessible, while unpaved portions of the trail, between Maricopa Point and Hermit’s Rest, are narrow and close to the edge.

Yavapai Observation Station at Yavapai Point offers unobstructed views up and down the gorge, including the Colorado River and Phantom Ranch. Learn about native wildlife and other natural features of the national park before returning to the airport for your scenic flight back to Salt Lake City.
