Great tour and history of Portland. John was a great guide. Thanks John for making a sacrifice to take us.

This takes you all over downtown Portland, so it's a good tour to take early in your trip. My only regret is that there weren't more stops. I would have liked to have had more pictures!

Enjoyed the history of the area and its development along with the ride along the river pathways and over two bridges. Ryan was a great host!

This was a great way to get around Portland in a short period of time. We were able to see all of downtown and even crossed the bridge over the river and back. Guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends, especially if you are only in Portland for the weekend or 2-3 days.

River vs. City tour allows you to go about 13 mph on the Segway there's a governor on it -- and that was really fun! Tour guide Jordan was very knowledgable, took us over the Tillikum bridge and back, showed us the tiniest park in Portland, we learned about bridges, the youngest mayor, saw a copy of the Liberty Bell, learned why there was a law passed forever ago that forbad lumberjacks to show up drunk for work, etc. PS: Segways follow the traffic laws of pedestrians not bikes so be prepared from grumbling from pedestrians. :

An interesting historical tour of downtown Portland - very informative. I had hoped for more discussion on the tunnels that were used in the past, but possibly we were in the wrong district. Enjoyed the ride near the river and Hector was very cheerful and information on everything else we saw.

After a snow storm in Portland, I wondered if this would work. The guide was sure we could manage it. I took my little training and off we went. But the guide took a slip and fall on his Segway. He immediately determined that it was not safe for us to continue. I REALLY appreciated his caution and concern for the safety of his client! He was a great kid and willing to refund my money! I will come back and try again!
