Your 4-hour morning or afternoon tour starts with pickup from your Palm Desert hotel; or, you can meet at the Ralph’s supermarket parking lot in Palm Desert. Aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled 4WD SUV, your expert guide will navigate the ridgelines, cattle trails and agricultural fields through Palm Desert’s rugged backcountry in the Sonoran Desert.

Admire the colors and unique shapes of the desert topography as you learn interesting facts about the area’s geology and history from your guide, who’ll also point out and explain interesting rock formations. Have your camera out and ready, as you may encounter bighorn sheep and other wildlife!

For a more immersive desert experience, hop out of your SUV for optional guided nature walks into gorgeous slot canyons and palm oases. You’ll get awesome up-close views, letting you experience the true beauty of the California desert in all its glory.

You'll be offered water and snacks throughout your 4-hour tour. Afterwards, you’ll be taken back to your Palm Desert hotel with lots of photos and memories to share.
