This 4-hour guided tour explores the restaurants of Hell’s Kitchen. Learn about the history and culture of the neighborhood. Then head to Central Park, the 843-acre (341-hectare) green wonderland in the center of the city, where you’ll learn the secrets of park and visit parts you would have never found on your own.

Make your way to midtown Manhattan to meet your expert guide and head off to explore one of New York City’s most bustling and diverse neighborhoods. Hell’s Kitchen may sound imposing, but it’s a very welcoming and culturally rich part of town.
Once a rough-and-tumble neighborhood filled with poor Irish-Americans, Hell’s Kitchen today is a safe area, its streets flanked by ethnic eateries. Stop by restaurants to munch on baba ghanoush,bourekasand the pi□ce de r□sistance: a doughnut and ice cream sandwich with lots of toppings. Sample enough food on this portion of the tour to make a full lunch.
Next, walk off those calories by following your guide to Central Park. The greatest urban park in the world holds many intriguing secrets. Can you guess what Central Park’s real estate value is? Can you guess how long it took to build Central Park? Where does the only straight path in the park lead? These are some of the questions that will be answered as you explore the park.
Go to parts of the park many people don’t know about, including a spot that feels as if you’re miles and miles from the urban jungle that is New York City. Expect to walk about 3 miles (5 km) in all, at a comfortable pace; Hell’s Kitchen is flat, and Central Park is a little hilly. The tour ends at Central Park, leaving you free to continue to explore the city on your own.

This was a wonderful food / walking tour. Our guide Annabel was so knowledgeable and fun, We ate amazing food from many cultures and learned about Hell's Kitchen. I never knew there were so many great places to get a bite! Go hungry! Annabel also entertained us with local history and folklore. Touring Central Park was the icing on the cake. Even though we have been there before we learned so much and felt we experienced the true beauty, diversity and spontaneity of the city!

The food was amazing and our guide had so much knowledge about the area that he shared. Wish group had been slightly smaller. There were 6 and it was sometimes hard to hear on the street walking. Central Park was a nice way to end the tour after the amount of food we ate.
