By bike is the best way to see the most beautiful landmarks of New York City. All of our bikes are Trek or Giant brand bikes new to this model year with no tacky advertisements on the bikes. Your bike rental package(s) include bike(s), map(s), lock(s) and helmet(s) (required if under 14 years old). Some of the sites located near where you will pick up your bike(s): The Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Bryant Park, Central Park, Grand Central and The Brooklyn Bridge.Adult bikes, child bikes, child trailers, and child seats are all available.Bike baskets are available.Customer can reschedule for any reason at no additional cost.

Your bike adventure starts with choosing what kind of bike you want to ride, and getting set up at our shop. All rental(s) include helmet(s) (required for children under the age of 14), bike lock(s) and map(s).
After you’ve been set up with your bike, take off and explore Central Park’s 840-acres of exciting terrain. There are numerous popular tourist sites to visit, including Strawberry Fields, Cherry Hill, Tavern on the Green, the Bethesda Fountain, the Onassis Reservoir, Cleopatra’s Needle and the Dakota. Don’t forget to wander the park’s less well-known areas as well; there are lots of hidden spots perfect for taking a break in the grass.
If you’re feeling adventurous, leave the park behind and set out to see the rest of the city on your bike, traveling along waterfront bike paths and protected bike lanes. Visit Times Square, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) or the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or just ride around and people watch. Wherever you go, you’re sure to have a unique New York City adventure aboard your bike.

It was a nice day to ride a bike !

Great day out........ once we got to Central Park!!
However, it was very busy and disorganized in the shop whilst sorting out the rental. We rented 7 bikes, most were ok but one bike did have bald tires and another bike had problem changing gears.
We had 3 children with us, aged between 9 - 12, we had to ask for cycle helmets and that took even longer to sort out. Only the children got given cycle helmets.
The leaflet that I picked up at this location states that helmets and baskets are free but we were charged for the baskets. When I queried this, the person in charge stated that they are only free from their other location up the street, this was disappointing as it did not state this in their leaflet.
Overall, it was a great day out and we managed to cycle a fair part of Central Park. I would recommend renting a bike for at least 2 hours minimum as it will take you at least 30 mins from when they sort you out with your bike and then push your bike to Central Park.
