Join your professional guide for a day tour of New Orleans. On this tour you will first visit the French Quarter and learn all of the history surrounding the French Quarter. Your guide is knowledgeable and will be sure to point out to you highlights and photo opportunities.
After visiting the French Quarter you will then head to the Garden District of New Orleans. After viewing the garden district the tour then proceeds to visit the lakefront area and the 17th street canal, affected by the hurricane Katrina. Then visit the city park.
At the end of the tour, to conclude, your guide will take you on a museum tour, showing you some of the most unique grave architecture and burial plot management in the entire United States. This tour picks up and drops off from all major Downtown New Orleans Hotels.

I saw the picture of the carriage when booking and even spoke to an operator when booking about the carriage tour. He was not located in NOLA and was difficult to understand. So when a big White shuttle bus picked us up we where surprised and disappointed. It was hard to see and the speaker system that the driver used made it hard to understand what was being said.

A half day tour taking in some of the areas devastated by Katrina and a few historical areas. Then on to one of the New Orleans cemeteries with a good talk to go with it, explaining the system of burial and re-use of crypts. Finally the sculpture park, where an interesting series of sculptures are displayed.

Great tour of the city in 3 hours. We did this tour before we boarded our cruise ship. Our driver David did an excellent job explaining the history of New Orleans, seeing the 9th Ward was both sad and interesting. Highly recommend this tour!
